Hello again,
Tym razem wybierzemy się w wirtualną podróż po 10 miastach/miejscach w Wlk. Brytanii, które warto zobaczyć z wielu powodów. Te miejsca to:

1.________ - a city in the county of Avon in south-west England, famous for its healthy mineral water and hot springs, its ancient Roman baths and beauttiful Georgian buildings. The city is also famous for its festival of classical music held every year in May and June. In 1987 the city was one of the first places in Britain to become a World Heritage Site.
2. ___________ - the county at the south – west tip of England . It used to produce a lot of tin, but there are now very few tin mines left. Its scenery and mild climate make it popular with tourists.
3. ___________ - a county in the east of England, part of East Anglia, . It is known for Norfolk Broads (a national park in East Anglia, where there are many small lakes connected to each other by rivers and canals. It is a very popular area for people who go on holiday in boats) and for being very flat.
4. ___________ - a region of lakes and mountains in Cumbria, north-west England. It contains the highest mountain in England SCAFELL PIKE and the largest lake WINDERMERE. Other lakes include ULLSWATER and DERWENTWATER. The area is associated with the Lake Poets, who lived there and wrote about it. Its beautiful scenery is very popular with tourists, and it was made a national park in 1951.
5. ___________ - a county in south-west England. With two national parks DARTMOOR and EXMOOR, and two coasts, north and south, it is a popular area for holidays.
6. ___________ - a range of hills in south - west England. It was once a major centre for sheep farming and the wool trade. Now it is a popular tourist area, famous for its beautiful scenery and pretty towns. Many houses in the area are built with the local Cotswold stone, which has an attractive pale greyish – yellow colour.
